Melissa King, with over 20 years of experience in biochemistry, is currently the supervisor of the Dispatch and Receiving Lab at the Moncton Hospital in New Brunswick. In her spare time, Melissa volunteers on the NBSMLT Board of Directors and for the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick, a cause that is close to her heart. Always interested in research, her favorite aspect of her current position is the opportunity to investigate and facilitate esoteric testing for physicians. It is incredibly rewarding to be involved in specific patient scenarios and know that she has directly impacted patient care.
