Speaker: Elizabeth O’Sullivan RN BScN MScN

Elizabeth O’Sullivan comes with a vast knowledge of process improvements in her career as a nurse, manager and director in Manitoba and Ontario. She received her BScN at the University of Victoria, B.C. and her MScN at the University of Western, Ontario. She has experience in adult and paediatric medicine, oncology/haematology as well as Emergency, Urgent Care, outpatient surgery and cancer care. She was instrumental in the opening of the ambulatory surgery centre at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton Ontario, development of Express Units to improve flow to the Emergency departments. She has published in the quality improvement of Transfer of accountability and the development of adapting and applying the synergy model on an inpatient hematology unit.
