At the end of this webinar you will be able to:

  • Understand CSMLS initiatives and efforts to inform government and other key stakeholders
  • Learn what’s happening across Canada for innovation and investment to improve the health human resources

 

Speaker: Christine Nielsen

Christine Nielsen became CEO of the CSMLS in 2010.  Prior, she was Director of Certification for seven years, with a brief stint as Deputy Registrar for the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario.   

Trained as a medical laboratory technologist, she then completed a degree in Health Admin, a Certificate of Mastery in Prior Learning Assessment from DePaul University in Chicago and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) since 2008.  She has recently completed an MBA from Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh Business School, Scotland, after eight long years!  She currently volunteers with the Michener Alumni association (20 years and running!) and the Oakville & Milton Humane Society Board of Directors.
