Carrie Smith is a Senior Scientist at Merrick & Company, specializing in laboratory operations planning for new laboratories, renovations, and laboratory transitions. As a former bench scientist who is well versed in molecular techniques, she has a passion for optimizing traditional processes and increasing workflow efficiency. In addition, Carrie is both a Certified Biological Safety Professional and a Registered Biosafety Professional through the American Biological Safety Association, International with fifteen years of experience in biosafety and containment facilities.
